2013 AWMAC Ontario Chapter Apprenticeship Contest

After a full day, the top three cabinets were identified. Jeremy Ronnenberg was this year’s winner. Jeremy was presented with a$500.00, which was kindly donated by Hettich. Brad Vanbakel’s cabinet was awarded second place and a $250.00 prize sponsored by Baywood Interiors. Third place, and the kindly donated $100.00 prize by Blum, went to David Buchanan.

Jeremy’s first place cabinet will represent Ontario at the National Apprenticeship Contest at the AWMAC National Convention in Canmore, AB.

Thank you to our host, Martin Grinwis of Conestoga College and all of the participants. The contest would not have been such a success without the sponsorship of the following organizations: Baywood Interiors, Blum, G & P Millwork, Hardwoods, Hettich, WilsonArt, and Richelieu. Thank you to the judges, generously who gave their time: Frank Sansalone of Blum, Daniel Riccio of Wood Bench Inc., and Carlo DeFrancesco of AWMAC and Green Valley Woodworking.
