Baywood Interior Millwork is a leading, progressive, mid sized architectural millwork, and, store fixture manufacturer, located in the Bridgeport Business Park area of Kitchener, ON.
We operate in the ICI, (industrial, commercial, and, institutional) construction fields, as well as, many retail store fixture environments.
In our 23rd year of operation, Baywood continues to grow and diversify its operations, and, is looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Experience:
-Current experienced commercial installer in the ICI, industrial, commercial, institutional, and, retail store fixture fields.
-Must be able to install cabinets, countertops, trims, etc
-Must be able to work off of architectural drawings, and, millwork shop drawings, installing millwork and store fixtures
-Must be able to work both independently, and, with other installers

Rate:
-Hourly, this is a full-time position, 44 hours weekly, O/T is available.

Cabinetmaker(s)required for Woodworking Shop

Applicant(s) would:
-Work off of architectural millwork drawings and specifications, millwork shop drawings and sketches, and, would be able to manufacture cabinets, counters, and, countertops
-Be competent working with melamines, plastic laminates, veneers, plywoods, and, solid wood
-Be competent working with small hand tools, and, woodworking machinery common to a woodworking shop
-Be able to work both independently, and, in a team work environment

Education: Graduate of Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is preferred
-Woodworking Technology/Technician Programs, or, Woodworking Technology-Architectural Millwork Program
-Graduates of other colleges comparable programs will also be considered

Experience:
A graduate of one of the above programs, plus 3 years of current, relevant, industry specific, cabinet makers experience in a millwork, or store fixture, manufacturing environment
or
5-8 years of current, relevant, industry specific cabinet makers experience in a millwork, or store fixture, manufacturing environment

Positions available:

Spray Finisher required for Woodworking Shop

Applicant(s) would:
-Be competent in all facets of commercial spray finishing included clear & tinted lacquers, spray & wiping stains, paints, fire resistant finishes, water and solvent based finishes, sanding, wood veneer and solid finishing characteristics etc.
-Would be working in a fully equipped Professional Spray Finishing Room fully separated from the plant 

Education: Graduate of Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning is preferred

-Graduates of other colleges comparable programs will also be considered

Project Coordinator required for Woodworking Shop

We operate in the ICI, (industrial, commercial, and, institutional) construction fields, as well as, many retail store fixture environments.
In our 23rd year of operation, Baywood continues to grow and diversify its operations, and, is looking for the right candidate to join our team.

Education:
Graduate of Conestoga College:
-Woodworking Technology/Technician Programs, or, Woodworking Technology-Architectural Millwork Program
-Architecture/Construction Engineering Technology Program
Graduates of other Ontario Colleges equivalent programs will also be considered

Experience:
A graduate of one of the above programs, plus 1-2 years of current, relevant, industry specific, project coordinators experience
or
3-5 years of current, relevant, industry specific, project coordinators experience

Primary Job Duties:
-coordination of successful tenders from the shop drawing stage, through to the final installation on site.
-will include job specific material takeoffs, purchasing, and, site visits, site meetings, and, site measuring as required.
-working under our senior project managers, and, with our management team, to meet, and or exceed, customer and company expectations
-correspondence with Architects, Designers, General Contractors and clients
-able to multi task, running numerous projects at the same time
-able able to work both independently, and, in a team environment.
-other duties as assigned by our Operations Manager

-Excellent phone and computer skills, including microsoft outlook, word, excel
-Other attributes we are looking for is someone with a positive, pro-active, can do attitude.

-We are looking for someone that’s results orientated, with a proven successful track record.
-Must have own vehicle, clean drivers abstract, and, the ability to obtain clean criminal record checks for security clearances required on various projects
